BEWARE OF VACATION SCAMS

Note: Scammers are now also advertising on "www.backpage.com".
When querying a Craigslist listing, take note of the email that replies.
Google that email, and see how many other listings they just
happen to have, all over the U.S., Canada, the U.K.
basically ALL OVER THE WORLD!!

Take note of how many of those listings have the exact same photographs.

All emails are untraceable gmail, yahoo or ymail, aol, rocket or live accounts,
gala.net or zoho.com email accounts have been used for
scamming purposes as well.

If they should send you "references",
these too will be gmail or yahoo accounts, some from other countries,
that they operate themselves.

Scammers have also set-up fake websites
through a free web page provider.
They are included in the list below, highlighted in red.

When contacting these scammers the rentals will ALWAYS be available!

They may send you so-called "proof" of who they are in the way of a driver's license.
These are false ID's!
The personal stats and ID number on this example have obviously been applied using Photoshop. Notice how crisp the lettering is compared to the rest of the ID.
Also, the stamp in behind the information is no longer as it should be.

This is a two bed apartment; price for the rent is $100 per night and $2000 for a month rent. You are to make advance payment equal 50% of the rental fee is required plus a damage fee of $200 which enable you reserve and secure the apartment for your choosing date.  The advance payment is required before arrival.

 

Note: Damage fee will be refunded back to the damage fee is not applied toward rental fee however it is fully refundable on the day of departure, provided all the amenities in the unit are met.

 

Amenities includes: Central air conditioning, Parking space available for two cars, taxes bills, car park bills, cleaning bills has all been taken care off, high quality towels, linens and dishes, flat screen TV with cable and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Refrigerator, microwave, Ice Maker.

 

7 NIGHT AND RENT FEE = $700

 

DAMAGE FEE = $200

 

TOTAL AMOUNT = $900

 

DEPOSIT PAYMENT = $550

 

BALANCE UPON ARRIVAL = $350

 

What required  you to hold the apartment is to make advance payment equal 50% of the rental fee plus the damage fee of 200$ which will be refunded back to you on your departure day. Kindly get back to me if you are interested so I can send you the require document for reservation.

The apartment cost $100 per night. You are required to make a
Refundable Deposit of $200 as security fee to hold the apartment for
you. The fee will be given back to you on the day you will be checking
out of the apartment. The security fee is for possible damages.Check the below quotes for the cost of nights you intent to stay in the apartment.

14 NIGHTS = $1400 %50 DEPOSIT= $ 700 SECURITY FEE = $200

As soon as you have the %50 of the rent fee paid plus the 200
Refundable Security fee, the apartment will be booked for you for the
chosen dates and your receipt of payment will be issued. As soon as I
read from you to know you are interested in the apartment, I will send you the Booking and Agreement form to complete with necessary information and you will have to return it to complete your
reservation.
